Evil Eye Guppy

Three years ago I stopped by a stream here on the island of St. Croix, in the Caribbean, and Lo! There were Guppies! I went back the next day and got a few, maybe ten. I just started taking photos of them, and wow, such a variety! And the eyespot-- the Evil Eye! But they're just cute little fishies, really.

Someday I'll sort out the photography and have better photos.

Melissa Evangeline Keyes: Christiansted, Saint Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands; I wish it was easier. The coral reef is amazing, and hidden from view unless you dive. I struggle to paint, instead of letting the little details of life bog me down.
